The alums of the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna, Italy, required a communications suite. They requested tools to interact amongst themselves, with current and former faculty members, school administrators, and students, who are scattered around the world. Also, they needed to have a forum to express their thoughts in writing and through intellectual exchanges. |

CorpImages.net, via its founder and former SAIS Bologna alumnus, designed a site complete will the latest communications tools online. The clean and easy-to-navigate site provides for such features as online voting, networking listServs, real-time chat, international affairs pop quizzes, and topic-specific, personalized mailing lists with opting out capabilities. In addition, alumni may request his/her own POP3 e-mail account with the SAISbologna.org domain to express solidarity and identification. The process is automated, and includes personalized configuration instructions sent via e-mail. Furthermore, the site thrives in alumni participation by encouraging submissions of written work, quiz ideas, poll requests, interactive recommend-this-site form and alumni updates from the contact us form. |
